The use of alloy 06XH28MDT
Alloy 06KHN28MDT is used for the manufacture of welded chemical equipment (reactors, heat exchangers, pipelines, tanks) operating at temperatures up to 80 ° C in sulfuric acid (except 55%), extraction phosphoric, acetic and other highly aggressive media in the production of complex mineral fertilizers. The alloy is smelted in electric arc furnaces.

Corrosion Resistance of Alloy 06XH28MDT
According to GOST 5949-75, GOST 7350-77, GOST 4986-79, GOST 9940-81 and GOST 9941-81, the alloy must not be prone to intergranular corrosion according to methods B and VU GOST 6032-89 with a test duration of 144 in the control solution, respectively and 48 hours; according to GOST 5582-75, testing is provided only by method B.
Before testing, the alloy is subjected to provocative heating at 700 ° C for 20 min according to GOST 5949-75, GOST 7350-77 and heating at 650 ° C for 1 h according to GOST 5582-75. The corrosion rate of the alloy in sulfuric acid at 80 ° C based on 100 hours of testing.

Alloy Welding 06XH28MDT
Alloy 06XH28MDT is welded manually and automatically by shielding gas and using flux. In manual electric arc welding, OZL-17U and OZL-37-2 electrodes with a rod of wire Sv-OZHN25MDGB and Sv-03KhN25MDG are used. In automatic electric arc welding, as well as argon arc welding, the same filler material is used. The brand AN-18 is recommended as a flux.
