Stainless steel, in which expensive nickel is partially replaced by manganese and nitrogen to stabilize the austenitic structure, has long established itself as an effective substitute for standard chromium-nickel steels.
AISI 201 grade steel is optimally alloyed with chromium, nickel, manganese, copper and nitrogen. Its chemical composition provides an austenitic structure, high strength and excellent deformation ability. Thanks to the latest manufacturing technologies and balanced chemical composition, AISI 201 austenitic steel has high corrosion resistance and is not inferior in this indicator to such popular brands as AISI 321 (12X18H10T), AISI 304 (08X18H10), etc. when used in organic, acidic and others moderately aggressive environments.
